My name is Carrie Gaier and I am one of the 1st-grade teachers. My husband, Luke, and I live in Gladbrook. We have a 9-year-old dog named Misty. We recently moved from Waterloo and are enjoying living in a small town! I taught for about 2 years in Waterloo, and this is my first year at East Marshall. When I was little, I loved pickles. However, they are now my least favorite food. My current favorite food is chicken quesadilla.
Hi, I am Sarah Vajgrt and I teach first grade in Laurel. I graduated from East Marshall in 2015 and went to UNI for my freshman year of college. Then, I transferred to Buena Vista University and finished my elementary education degree there with a reading endorsement. My fiance and I like to spend most of our weekends at the lake or with family and taking care of our very hyper mini Australian shepherd.
