Environmental Science students are putting their problem-solving skills to work! 💧 They collected water samples from the quarry and used test strips to identify contaminants. After choosing a contaminant to target, each group designed and built a filter. Now, they’re researching, making improvements, and getting ready to test their designs again!

This week, the East Marshall Yearbook Staff hit the streets and visited local businesses to sell yearbook advertisements for the 2026–2027 East Marshall Yearbook! You may have seen our students stop by your business to share information about this opportunity.
If our yearbook staff didn’t get a chance to visit your business, there’s still time to be featured! Local businesses interested in supporting the yearbook and getting their name in front of the East Marshall community are encouraged to reach out to Mrs. Aman (eaman@e-marshall.k12.ia.us) for more information.
Thank you to all of our local businesses for supporting the East Marshall Yearbook and our students! 🐎📖

Great teamwork and problem-solving! 👏
