• This is my 35th year in education, 23 at East Marshall.
• I’ve been married for over 34 years and have two grown children.
• I also have three grandchildren.
• My wife Shelli has been a 5th-grade teacher now for 31 years.
• BS – Social Studies: Mankato State University
• MA- K-12 School Counseling: University of Northern Iowa
• PK-12 Principal Certification: IPLA Storm Lake

Interesting Fact:

• I was named after my dad’s Air Force buddy who took him in a vertical climb and got him sick.  I guess I got that going for me.
• My kids and my brothers kids are first and third cousins.
